Job Description

Working with a high growth Crypto company that is looking to expand its presence across the European markets. The company is looking to double the size of their business in the next year and has recently had a Seed funding round of $200m.

The company is now looking to hire a General Manager for Europe, to spearhead their UK and European business. You will be responsible for all Crypto products across the business and you will be leading the company’s goal of accelerating the world's transition to cryptocurrency in the European market.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an executive leadership position at a large and growing Fintech company managing senior team members across multiple countries within Europe, have good knowledge of the payments industry, specifically consumer payments, had P&L ownership experience and has had strong exposure to banking, payment companies or start-ups. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute on country/region growth strategy, including building the infrastructure for an end-to-end payments network in the market.
  • Develop and manage new and existing third-party relationships/stakeholders, such as tier 1 banks, network scheme; payment processor; issuer; attorneys, etc.
  • Run P&L, European Operations and Infrastructure
  • Represent the company in front of the regulators and spear head license applications
  • Scale the European business 

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in an executive leadership position at a large and growing Fintech company managing senior team members
  • 15+ years of senior product management or consulting experience with exposure to banking, payment companies or start ups
  • Manage senior team members across multiple countries within Europe
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated and very competitive industry
  • P&L ownership
